Enrolment Process

The following process applies to Local Students only. Overseas Students have a slightly different process that can be found on in the  Overseas Students page.

1. Discover

We have one central point of contact for all your enrolment enquiries regarding our Early Learning Centre, Primary or Secondary Years, or our Out of School Hours Care centre. You will be provided with all the information you need to discover our College and aid your decision.

We encourage you to read through our College Prospectus, engage with our online Virtual Open Day, arrange a College tour, or come along to an on campus  Open Day and speak with our students, parents and staff about our College community.

Our friendly Student Enrolment Manager is also more than happy to speak with you and answer any of your questions about the College and cohort vacancy prior to you engaging in the application process.

Please complete the Enrolment Enquiry Form or feel free to contact our Student Enrolment Manager directly:

Please make sure you read our Conditions of Enrolment, Privacy Statement, Statement of Belief, Parent Code of Conduct, Student Code of Conduct, Fees and Scholarships and Location and Transport information prior to submitting your application.

The College accepts applications at any time, however our enrolment process (Application Review stage onwards) commences a maximum of 24 months prior to the cohort commencement for our Primary and Secondary Years (Kindergarten to Year 12) and a maximum of 12 months prior to the cohort commencement for our Early Learning Centre (Preschool and Preparatory). Completed applications received outside of this timeframe will be acknowledged and held until they are eligible to commence the enrolment process.

Families will be notified should the applied cohort be at capacity and subsequently their application has been waitlisted. Waitlisted applications will commence the enrolment process when a vacancy becomes available in that cohort.

3. Application Review

Once we have received your completed application, it is within the eligible enrolment timeframe, and there is cohort vacancy, it will be reviewed and assessed by our Enrolment Committee. Our Student Enrolment Manager will contact you with the result of your enrolment application review.

4. Enrolment Interview

If your application is eligible to progress, we will arrange a mutually convenient time for an enrolment interview for your family to meet with the relevant Head of Years and/or our Principal. Applying students must attend the enrolment interview.

5. Offer of Enrolment

Following the enrolment interview, if successful, a Letter of Offer will be sent to you along with an Enrolment Agreement and other required enrolment paperwork to review and complete by an advised date.

6. Acceptance of Offer

An Offer of Enrolment is accepted and secured when all the relevant enrolment paperwork is returned, including the signed Enrolment Agreement, by the advised date. An additional non-refundable $250 Enrolment Fee is also payable for new families when an Offer of Enrolment is accepted for their first child at the College, however, is not required for siblings of currently enrolled students.

7. Welcome to Norwest

Once we have processed your Offer of Enrolment acceptance, you will be sent Confirmation of Enrolment correspondence outlining commencement dates, orientation days, uniform fittings, and other pertinent details which will assist your child’s transition into the College Community.

The College's K-12 Enrolment Policy is available for your information.
