Michael has joined the Norwest Christian College team as the new Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Manager in 2018. He is responsible for ensuring the technology services at the College operate effectively, implementing solutions to meet the evolving technology needs of students and staff, and enabling teachers to use innovative technology in the classroom.
“I’m looking forward to applying my experience in an educational setting and equipping teachers and staff with the technology tools they need to contribute to a positive learning experience for the students. I was fortunate enough to attend a Christian school growing up and it had a big influence on my walk with faith and who I am today. Being part of the team at Norwest with a goal of building purposeful lives and sharing the love of God is something I can be passionate about.”
Outside of work Michael enjoys spending time with his family by visiting different places like parks and beaches. He also enjoys running, socialising over tabletop board games and the occasional scuba dive where he loves exploring the ocean.
Michael has a Bachelor of Computer Science from Western Sydney University, a Graduate Diploma of Divinity from Morling College and over 13 years experience as an IT professional in the corporate sector where he specialised in customer collaboration with a large technology company.
