Craig joins the College as the Director of Development, “I turned 70 and I thought it an especially good time to seek God’s future plan for me - stay where I was as a school Careers Advisor, a role I had filled for seven years, retire (again!) or redirect my energies and skills, in line with a fresh mission. My praying made it clear – there was a new role for me!” He will be making connections with business and tertiary educational institutions and seeking to create educational opportunities for our College students and making Norwest better known and supported by the general community. Craig is also working to connect the College to alumni, as they seek their individual purposeful life journeys.
Developing a sense of community has always been a prime focus for Craig, from creating the Kurrajong Scarecrow Festival to organising Anzac Commemoration Services and being Foundation President of the Families and Friends of the First AIF (FFFAIF - Australian Imperial Force of WWI).
Craig and his wife, Kath, attend St Matthews Anglican Church and they enjoy starting the day at 5am every morning and walking for an hour. He coaches Australian and NSW Futsal Teams and has taken teams to Europe and Asia. He loves history, travel and overseas trips. “It may be a quirk but I really enjoy study and have gained a Bachelor and three Masters degrees and a Graduate Diploma. When in doubt study!”
