Julie’s Story

“There is a tangible sense of community among the staff and college families,” Julie claims, “and the commitment to an excellent educational experience with a balanced, biblical world view, from the Principal through to the gardener, is truly inspiring.” Julie and her husband, Stewart, are excited to have their daughter, Jasmine “educated in a Christian environment so she can be nurtured not only academically, but spiritually; in a community where servant leadership is evident and God is glorified!”

Julie had been looking for a place to send her daughter that would give her opportunities to interact and grow with others, “to be herself while learning to grow in community, plus developing coping skills for when things don't go to plan, and seeing prayer in action!” Since sending Jasmine to Norwest, Julie has seen a development in Jasmine’s confidence and her knowledge as she learns, “while encouraging others in their endeavours. She has been given lots of opportunities to be kind to others and treat other people the way she would like to be treated - she is growing in the knowledge that God has a plan for her life, and He makes each of us unique and special.”

Julie and Stewart describe the sense of community at the College as “very friendly, welcoming and inclusive – there are so many ways to be involved – it is a unique place to both be blessed and to be a blessing.”
