Know Your Norwest

Know Your Norwest

Know Your Norwest (KYN) is one of our favourite events in the College calendar. It is one of the rare opportunities we have, as a whole community, to join together, to meet new friends, or catch up with old ones. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we have made several amendments to the usual program in order to prioritise opportunities for new families to gather on campus. This year, Know Your Norwest will be scheduled over four separate events. Whilst the event looks different, the heart of Know Your Norwest remains the same. The four Know Your Norwest events are as follows;

Know Your Norwest New to Primary Dinner - (Tuesday, 9 February, Week 2) for all families who are new to Primary school in 2021. This event will include a dinner on campus, a campus tour, and an opportunity to meet the staff. Click here to view the Primary information.

Know Your Norwest New to Secondary Dinner - (Tuesday, 16 February, Week 3) for all families who are new to Secondary school in 2021. This event will also include dinner on campus, a campus tour, and an opportunity to meet the staff. Click here to view the Secondary information.

Know Your Norwest Welcome to the ELC - (Tuesday, 16 February, Week 3) for all families who are new to the ELC in 2021. This event will also include dinner on campus, a campus tour, and an opportunity to meet the staff. Click here to view the ELC Information.

Know Your Norwest Livestream - (Monday, 1 March, Week 5) for all families. This is an opportunity for all families to meet the Executive and, receive Information Technology updates regarding the new College App and website, Linewize, and the Laptop Program.

Each of the Know Your Norwest events are designed to promote community and as such are considered family events. Each event, except for the Livestream of course, includes a complimentary meal provided by our Parents and Friends Association. It also includes opportunities to connect with your children’s friends and their families, meet your child’s teachers, and learn information crucial to enabling a great start to the year.
