Stage 4 Curriculum

Students are happiest when provided with learning experiences that are practical, relevant and enriching. The College’s Secondary Years curriculum is values inclusive and focuses on the essentials of literacy, numeracy, the arts, humanities, sciences and sports.

Students participate in a rich and innovative curriculum that exposes them to a variety of subjects and learning opportunities. Programs of study are written to encourage higher-order thinking while recognising individual student gifts and abilities in the learning process. Teaching teams across Key Learning Areas collaborate to plan, deliver and monitor course development and delivery.

Teaching and learning encourages students to be productive local and global citizens, with an emphasis on the responsible stewardship of God’s Creation. A Christian focus is interwoven into learning, where students are encouraged to explore their own beliefs and values.
