Music in the Senior Years
Students studying Elective Music in the Senior Years are expected to specialise in at least one instrument and be prepared to perform regularly. Students in Years 9-10 have the option to perform at the quarterly Live @ Norwest, which is held at lunchtime usually outside at the end of each term, and to join the college performance groups. HSC students have the option of choosing Music 1, Music 2 or Music Extension and focusing on performance, composition or musicology. Students studying HSC Music are encouraged to participate in extra curricular groups and also take an active part in the annual Senior Soiree.
